Stela & Kristi
Stela and Kristi met while studying Fashion and Textiles in the University of São Paulo (USP/ EACH) in 2009. TogetherWeShine project idea grew out from a subject taught by Prof Suzana Avelar and developed into what you can see today. A result of an amazing synergy between the two girls.
Kristi Kuusk
Kristi Kuusk is a MA student at Estonian University of Arts (Fashion Design) just finishing a year of study at USP, Brazil. She has a BSc (Bachelor of Science in Engineering) from Tallinn University of Technology (Information Technology) and great passion to integrate two fields into amazing concepts and interesting solutions.
Kristi: “I loved working on TogetherWeShine because it gave me an opportunity to express beautiful ideas, make crazy experiments, share and grow with Stela. She is an amazing girl and I’m happy to have her as my new Brazilian sister.”
Stela Dias Fernandes
Stela Dias Fernandes is a newly BA graduate at Univesity of São Paulo (Textile and Fashion). She likes working on different concepts of fashion and unusual parts of it, such as Fashion for disabled people (she was a finalist in the I Concurso de Moda Inclusiva – 2009), Sustainability (Final Project at University).
Stela: “TogetherWeShine was a wonderful project because we could mix and put into practice different concepts, generally thoughts so opposite or insoluble like fashion, technology, and unconditional love. The experiments with new materials were amazing! It was a pleasure to work and share the ideas with Kristi. She is spectacular person and a professional… She is for sure my new Estonian sister.”
